CCV Shop
Our webshop is developed using software provided by CCV Shop. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. CCV Shop has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. CCV Shop is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strict password policy. CCV Shop uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored during this process.
Payment Processors
PayPal
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the PayPal platform. PayPal processes your name, address, and city/residence details, as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share anonymized data with third parties. In the event of an application for deferred payment (credit facility), PayPal shares personal data and financial information with credit rating agencies. To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of Rabobank. Shipping and Logistics
PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to execute deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address, and city/residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of executing the delivery agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Sales Platforms & Invoicing
Marktplaats.nl
We sell a portion of our products via the Marktplaats.nl platform. If you place an order via this platform, Marktplaats.nl shares your order and personal details with us. We use this data to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment or order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date — other than at your request — we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of an agreement, an oath, or a legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is processed for the purpose of further improving our website and services. This data does not constitute directly identifiable personal data.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations
Where applicable, Star Twin Motors B.V. may be under a legal obligation to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such cases, we are obligated to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities provided by law.
Retention periods
We keep your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we maintain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Pursuant to applicable legal and administrative obligations (such as tax retention rules), we must retain invoices containing your personal data; we will store this data for as long as the mandatory statutory term applies. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or documents produced as a result of your assignment.

To prevent misuse, we generally send copies and transcripts of your data only to the email address already registered in our system. If you wish to receive data at a different email address or by post, we will ask you to verify your identity. We maintain a log of handled requests; in the case of a request to be forgotten, we administer anonymized data. You will receive all copies of data in a structured, machine-readable format.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at any time if you suspect that we are processing your personal data incorrectly.
Right of access: You always have the right to inspect the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a copy of all data along with an overview of the processors who hold this data to your registered email address.
Right to rectification: You always have the right to have the data we process corrected or updated. You can submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation of the adjustment to your registered email address.
Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. You can submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send confirmation that your data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability: You have the right to have the data we process transferred to another party. You can submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data processed by us or third parties on our behalf. Please note that we may no longer be able to continue providing services in such cases, as the secure linkage of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Star Twin Motors B.V. If you object, we will immediately halt data processing pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies of the data and permanently cease processing. Furthermore, you have the right not to be subjected to automated decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that applies to automated decision-making.
